RESIDENTS PLEASE NOTE:  DATE CHANGE FOR COMMUNITY CELEBRATION

The Fall Kick Off Community Celebration previously scheduled for Sunday September 15 from 2-4pm has been rescheduled for Sunday October 27 from 2-4pm.

On September 15, there is a Phase II and Friends Concert entitled “Are you Lonesome Tonight – The Music of Elvis Presley” being held at Saint John’s Church in Mount Stewart, and the Community does not want to compete with what is sure to be a great evening of quality entertainment. Doors for this event are at 6:30pm and music runs from 7-9pm. Tickets are $12 and available at the door. Fudge and water will also be available for purchase.

On Sunday October 27, your newly elected council will host the Fall Kick Off event at the Community Complex. All residents and in particular our seniors, youth and young families are encouraged to attend! There will be entertainment (including music and pumpkin carving), refreshments, and games. We look forward to seeing you there!

There is a sense of community that washes over you as you enter this quaint little village.  On any given evening, you might take part in a supper put on by the church, or a lecture at the Eco Centre, or perhaps a show at the Trailside.  Here are some notable events around the Mount Stewart area that will surely pique your interest:

Please save the date of Sunday September 15, 2019 from 2-4pm for an event to be held at the Community Complex. In particular, Council would love to see our seniors, youth and young families in attendance! There will be entertainment, refreshments, games, and – trusting the weather cooperates – planning is underway for fireworks to end the evening.
